LAFARGE – Three of the 17 citizens who testified at the recent Wild Rose Dairy water quality permit hearing spoke in favor of the DNR reissuing the permit, and approving the confined animal feeding operation’s (CAFO) plans to expand. The rest of the hearing participants spoke in opposition. The hearing was held on Tuesday, Oct. 13…I have been to many of these meetings…they always end the same way….PERMIT APPROVED..! If you really want to save/protect your County…do this…STOP RENTING YOUR LAND FOR THEIR SHIT/MANURE…! These commercial factory farms will get all the permits needed…animal and water…what they do not always have is…ENOUGH LAND FOR SPREADING..! YOU THE LANDOWNERS HOLD THE KEY…TAKE AWAY THE LAND AND THE PERMIT WILL NEED TO BE CHANGED..! MAN-UP…YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS DO NOT HAVE THE “STONES” FOR THE FIGHT….YOU DO..!
